Hot on the heels of Destiny's Child reunion track, member Kelly Rowland released her newest solo single on Friday. Continuing the sexual overtones of her past singles, the steamy “Kisses Down Low” finds the singer detailing how she likes it in the bedroom.
“Kisses Down Low” was produced by Mike WiLL Made It, the man behind Rihanna's “Pour it Up” and Juicy J's “Bandz a Make Her Dance.” Rowland sings about some bedroom downtime, letting her lover know where to go next, over the song's electro-R&B sound. It's a sexy slow jam remiscient of Khia's raunchy “My Neck, My Back (Lick It),” but not as explicit. Rowland never specifies where down low is, but one can only imagine.
Rowland's fourth solo studio album, “Year of the Woman,” is due for release later this year. “Kisses Down Low” follows the upcoming record's first single, “Ice.” While her album is underway, Rowland is rumored to regroup with Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams for a Destiny's Child medley next month during the Super Bowl halftime show.
