Kelly Ripa Botox: TV host admits to getting injections (Video)

Kelly Ripa Botox rumors have been confirmed by the co-host of the popular morning television show "Live With Kelly & Michael." Ripa recently admitted she gets injections every so often to keep her youthful look.

As reported by Elle Magazine on Jan. 15 in an interview with Ripa, she mentions getting the injections about every seven months in several problematic areas. Ripa told Elle:

"It’s the Botox. Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes. So I feel like it makes my makeup artist’s life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now."

Self-image seems important to Ripa beyond just the Botox injections. The energetic and attractive TV personality also had an issue related to her pregnancy weight she gained while an actress on the soap "All My Children." Apparently a viewer wrote in telling her "Eat a carrot, you fat bastard." Kelly actually framed the note and hung it up in her dressing room.

Ripa continues to make exercise and health a priority in her life these days, although some may argue she appears too skinny. Others think the contrary that she's doing just fine, especially if she's comfortable in her own skin, Botox injections or not.

Kelly Ripa currently co-hosts with Michael Strahan on the morning talk show, "LIVE! with Kelly and Michael" which is shown in Roanoke on local ABC affiliate station WSET 13 at 9:00 a.m. EST weekdays.
