TMZ reports on Saturday that Kelly Osbourne’s seizure situation may be more serious than first expected.
Kelly Osbourne was rushed to the hospital due to a sudden seizure on Thursday according to the New York Daily News. The young host was filming an episode of E!’s “Fashion Police” when the attack occurred.
Her departure scene may have seemed a bit morbid as she was taken away by ambulatory personnel on a stretch with a white sheet covering her entire body, including her face.
This is how the rich and famous are forced to play and it was quick thinking on someone’s part. If they had neglected to conceal her on her way out, pictures would have been plastered all over the place without a doubt.
Osbourne certainly loves her fans. She tweeted from the hospital, “"Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why?” She also shared a photo.
Kelly’s publicist confirmed on Thursday that she “fainted on the set of E!’s “Fashion Police” and that “she was taken to a hospital for further testing.” Osbourne initially planned on just an overnight stay for “observation as a precautionary measure” but according to TMZ the seizure was far more serious than first suspected.
Doctors state that she could be suffering from epilepsy according to the site and she is expected to stay at the hospital for at least a few more days.
It is still a possibility that the seizure was an isolated incident which in that case, doctors will still need to get to the bottom of what happened and figure out how they can prevent that from happening again. Osbourne is currently being treated with anti-seizure medication.
Hopefully Kelly’s situation will be as simplistic as possible as the Osbournes have certainly had their fair share of health issues in the past with her brother Jack being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and her mom Sharon’s battle with cancer.
