Kelly Osbourne looks to be trying to end her feud with Lady Gaga, but did it in quite a backhanded way. According to thehollywoodgossip.com on Jan. 14, Osbourne said she was a big fan of Lady Gaga and didn't want to criticize the singer.
However, Osbourne's comments were also laced with the accusation that Lady Gaga was in the wrong in this situation. Kelly, 28, said that she made "stupid mistakes" when she was 25 as well, accusing "people of doing things that were wrong." Lady Gaga is 26. Kelly went on to say people live and learn.
That was clearly a slam on Lady Gaga, given in the most polite way possible. In a recent interview, Osbourne discussed how she has had to endure bullying all her life and then mentioned that Gaga's fans were the worst, because some of them wished for her death, and in one case wished that Kelly would be raped.
When Lady Gaga heard Kelly complain about the cyber-bullying, the pop star came out in defense of the bullying. This was shocking as Gaga used to preach against cyber-bullying. In this case, she said that because Kelly Osbourne appears on "Fashion Police," where she critiques celebrities clothing choices, she doesn't deserve sympathy for being bullied herself.
For Lady Gaga to try to vindicate bullying by her fans, it makes her look horrible in this situation. Kelly, however, said she wants this to end, but can't control what her mother Sharon Osbourne says. Sharon went after Gaga online for attacking her daughter, leading Gaga to proclaim that the world is tough.
