TV personality Kelly Osbourne has been released from the hospital where she spent five days after having a seizure and collapsing on the set of “Fashion Police,” the Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. After undergoing a battery of tests, doctors have concluded that Osbourne’s seizure was a “one-time” episode.
Although the tests showed no conclusive results, rumors that Osbourne may have epilepsy were squashed. She was given a clean bill of health by her medical team and the okay to return to work at “Fashion Police.”
After her release Osbourne tweeted her thanks to the hospital:
“Thank you to all the Doctors Nurses Medical Staff & Employees @CedarsSinai Hospital for fixing me enough to go home its so nice to bein bed!”
Kelly’s mom, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed on “The Talk” that her daughter was doing well. "We were very blessed that, in a way, that Kelly, when she had her seizure, she had while she was filming, so it was filmed. We needed that to show the neurologist so they could see what was happening … And she’s on medication. She’s fine, nobody knows why she had it … Can't figure out a reason why, but she is fine and naughty."
