Thursday was a bad day for celebrities. On the same day that Justin Bieber fainted during a concert at the O2 Arena in London, Kelly Osbourne was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a seizure during the taping of her show, "Fashion Police." The E! show also stars Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos.
Osbourne was reportedly sitting in a chair, as the show was being shot in front of a full live studio audience. Filling in for Giuliana Rancic was Melissa Rivers, who was sitting next to Osbourne. Osbourne reportedly turned to Rivers and said, "I don't feel good," after which she fell out of the chair and started shaking.
Rivers apparently dropped down and turned Osbourne's head to help her. Someone from the audience -- it is unclear who, but that person was apparently an emergency responder -- ran onstage to help in the incident.
According to the report, an ambulance was rushed to the scene and Osbourne was taken away on a stretcher. The incident occurred at the E! building on Wilshire Blvd., just before noon.
Later, a spokeswoman for Osbourne said the 28-year-old is awake, alert and in stable condition. As a precaution, she will be staying at the hospital overnight for observation. No additional details were given.
While it is still unknown what triggered Osbourne's collapse, Joan Rivers -- who was also present on set when Osbourne suffered the seizure -- can be seen in the short embedded video saying "She (Osbourned) is fine. We just saw her."
