Kelly Osbourne epilepsy: Reality star to undergo tests

Kelly Osbourne may be suffering from epilepsy. The London-born singer, actress, and fashion designer had a seizure earlier in the week, while filming “Fashion Police,” and she is still in the hospital in Los Angeles while doctors try to figure out the cause. A round of tests is underway. Inquisitr reports the story on Saturday, March 9.

Seizures are the main symptom of epilepsy, and it is possible the seizure Kelly suffered is part of an ongoing epileptic condition. But it is also possible the episode was an isolated event. Doctors must figure out which, and provide treatment accordingly, before Kelly can resume her normal life safely. At this time, Kelly Osbourne is taking anti-seizure medication.

Kelly Osbourne is the daughter of Grammy-winning rocker Ozzie Osbourne and former reality judge Sharon Osbourne. Her own career has taken off since her appearance on “Dancing with the Stars,” and she is currently starring on a season of “Fashion Police.”

Her brother Jack was stricken last year with multiple sclerosis, and he is still in the process of learning to cope with the disease. His surprise diagnosis came within weeks of the birth of his daughter, and hs anger at discovering he had a serious illness made the situation worse.

Kelly Osbourne could be facing almost the same thing. A diagnosis of epilepsy is somewhat life-changing, ant it could come just when the actress had gotten her life under control. Mother Sharon has had her own problems with breast cancer. The family could use a bit of good luck.
