Kelly Osbourne, who lost 50 pounds recently, was so thrilled when she recently saw her first bikini cover for Shape magazine that she cried with joy.
'I'VE NEVER WORN A BIKINI IN MY LIFE'
"I just shot the cover of Shape magazine, which was such an incredible experience," the 112-pound Osbourne told Us. "I have never worn a bikini in my life before yesterday. I never even thought of wearing one!
"I cried when I saw the picture. Everyone that was there, we all just burst into tears. It was a thrilling experience."
The 5'3" Kelly, who has struggled with weight all her life, once topped the scales at 160 pounds and wore a size 14. She credits her dramatic slim down to a low-carb, sugar-free diet and daily 90-minute workouts.
Osbourne's stint on Dancing with the Stars in 2009 motivated her to shed the stubborn last 10 pounds. She now works with celebrity trainer Sarah Hagaman to stay in shape.
'I EXERCISE 90 MINUTES DAILY'
"I just commit to half an hour a day," says the size 0-2 reality star. "It doesn’t seem overwhelming and I can handle that. I do half an hour on the treadmill and when I feel like doing more, I'll do a few sit-ups and some weights."
Kelly, who once lamented that people teased her more for being fat than for being a former drug addict, says designers are now sending her clothes to wear when she goes out in public.
"Now every designer will send me anything that I want, and I can't believe that I am in this situation," Osbourne gushes. "I opened up all of these zip bags last night from Marchesa -- off the runway -- and I can't believe that it fits me."
