On March 9, TMZ reported exclusively that “Fashion Police” co-host Kelly Osbourne has been diagnosed as being a possible epileptic after her March 7 seizure, which landed her in the hospital. Osbourne was in the middle of taping when she looked over at Melissa Rivers to say “I don’t feel good,” prior to falling out of her chair. When Kelly landed, she started shaking. Rivers turned her head to help her.
An emergency responder came out of the audience and arrived on stage to help. Kelly’s episode didn’t last very long; but her handlers demanded she be taken to the hospital anyway because Kelly has never suffered a seizure. At the time no trigger was known.
Now that she has had time to rest, doctors are saying that the seizure was far more serious than anyone thought. Osbourne will remain in the hospital for a few more days. It’s believed that Kelly is an epileptic and for now she is on anti-seizure medications. Osbourne may also need to consider a dietary change to control future seizures with a high fat, low carb, diet such as the ketogenic diet.
