Kelly Osborn talks "Dancing with the Stars," her drug use and DJ AM's death

Kelly Osborn opened up in a recent interview with E! News stating “Dancing with the Stars” producers have asked her eight other seasons to join the show. So why did she say yes the ninth time? Kelly stated, “There's a number of reasons," she said of why she finally took the show up on its offer, "mainly because it really scares me."

With Kelly donning a new fresh look, she stated, “I'm turning 25 during the show and I just don't want to have any regrets anymore; I just wanna have fun. How many people in the world get an opportunity like this…and get paid for it?"

Kelly also commented on the death of the young DJ AM from an apparent drug over-dose, she stated, “It's a constant reminder that sometimes you don't have control over it," "It's really scary because if it can happen to someone like him, it can happen to anyone."

In Kelly’s autobiography, Fierce, which came out this week in the U.K., she admitted that at one point she was taking 50 Vicodin a day.

"I had no control over it. I didn't know what day it was. If I can share that pain and misery with someone to say, 'Don't do this,' it means more to me to help one person than to keep my mouth shut."
As for Kelly’s “Dancing with the Stars” partner Louis van Amstel he stated before he met Kelly he had really, really poor expectations. "I didn't think she'd actually even know left from right," "I think people are gonna be shocked."
