Dance Moms” star Abby Lee Miller spoke out this week about her physical altercation with Kelly Hyland, Paige and Brooke's mom. Now Hyland has opened up a bit about her side of the story. She spoke with “Good Morning America” on Jan. 30, and fans will definitely want to know what she had to say.

Reportedly during filming last November, Kelly Hyland got angry over Abby Lee Miller bringing in new girls for the ALDC dance team. Hyland is even facing a criminal complaint now, and the women were in court last week. Miller says that Hyland initiated the physical altercation, but there are certainly two sides to this one.

Hyland says she has been advised not to say much about the incident, but she did tell “GMA” that she is not the type of person who would fight with someone without being provoked. She says that of course she's disappointed things got physical, but she maintains that she was standing up for her kids. Hyland has pleaded not guilty to charges of harrassment and assault. As for patching things up with Miller, she says she doesn't think that is possible given all the pain and hurtful things that have transpired.

Apparently the Lifetime cameras did not catch the altercation between Kelly Hyland and Abby Lee Miller. However, they have been filming as the court proceedings take place it seems. How will it all play out? Miller said on “The View” that Kelly, Brooke and Paige Hyland still film for the show, but that the girls are no longer officially on the team. It seems fairly certain that it's just a matter of time at this point before the Hylands and "Dance Moms" fully part ways. Tune in to new episodes of “Dance Moms” currently airing Tuesday nights on Lifetime.
