Kelly Clarkson’s wedding plans are in full swing, and there will be no Los Angeles or Caribbean hot spots under consideration. The singer and her beau, Brandon Blackstock, want an “earthy” outdoor fall wedding at home, with plenty of yellow roses for Texas, reports People on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Kelly Clarkson solved her biggest wedding plan problem when she stopped seeking designer jeans and rediscovered Wranglers. No, she’s not talking about wedding clothes, she’s dishing on choosing the groom. Real, non-designer denim in male sizes.
“I was dating skinny jeans and I needed Wranglers,” the country singer discovered. The classic, eye-opening encounter happened when she began to date current fiancé and soon-to-be-groom Brandon Blackstock. Less Los Angeles, more Nashville, would be another way to put it. A real man.
“Out of nowhere I just said, ‘Thanks for being an awesome guy.’ I've never been loved properly by a man, and I was just like, ‘I thank you so much for that.’” Aw-ww-w.
As it turns out, her timing was perfect. Brandon was just getting ready to propose marriage. What an opening, but the singer was not expecting anything. “Not a damn clue!” she says. “If I did I would have worn something besides Uggs and a sweatshirt with no bra.”

Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson and her music manager fiancé have two albums in the works, and the Grammys are coming up. Life is busy, but “I didn't know life could be this happy,” Kelly Clarkson says.
