Kelly Clarkson slams Clive Davis over his new book

Kelly Clarkson is slamming Clive Davis’ new book, calling him a bit “mixed up” with his stories, Entertainment Weekly reported on Feb. 19.

According to the report, Clive Davis opened up about his less than perfect relationship with the first “American Idol” winner. “Kelly obviously is very talented and has a big, powerful voice,” Clive said.

Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson has slammed Clive Davis’ memoir, and is telling her own version of what happened between herself and music mogul. Clive claims that Kelly hated “Since You’ve Been Gone” and “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” and didn’t want them on her album, and when an argument prevailed, the singer began to sob.

“Not true at all,” Clarkson said. “His stories and songs are mixed up. I did want more guitars added to the original demo and Clive did not. Max, Luke and I still fought for the bigger sound and we prevailed and I couldn’t be more proud of the life of that song.”

Kelly Clarkson also goes on to say that the real reason she cried in Clive Davis’ office was because she played “Because of You,” an emotional song she wrote about her life, and Davis hated it, calling her a bad song writer.

It looks like a full out feud is brewing between Kelly and Clive. However, it seems like everything has worked out for Clarkson, and she’s finally getting to say what she’s been holding inside for a long time.
