“American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson is having the time of her life right now. Not only is she one of the biggest names in the music industry, but she is also marrying the love of her life. She did an interview on Jan. 28 with country music station K-Frog promoting her new country tune, “Don’t Rush.” She also revealed some tidbits on her upcoming wedding nuptials.
The songstress says she and fiancé Brandon Blackstock are shooting for a fall wedding with the ceremony to take place outdoors. Another cool revelation is that her pal Blake Shelton will be performing at the reception. It should be an all-around country fest with him and country icon Reba McEntire, who also happens to be Brandon’s stepmom, in attendance. There will be many more famous faces there but Kelly admits to having a meltdown with all of the planning she has to do.
“We are trying to make it small, but it’s hard. I literally had a breakdown two weeks ago about the wedding list,” she revealed.
She also commented on how terrified she is to have everyone watch her walk down the aisle. That is quite funny considering that she is on stage in front of thousands of people when she sings. Planning a wedding can certainly bring on the jitters of the big day, even with big time celebrities like Kelly Clarkson. This will certainly be one of the most anticipated weddings of the year. Her “American Idol” pals, fellow music artists and of course, the couple’s closest family and friends may be added to her wedding list to help her and Brandon celebrate their special day.
