Kelly Clarkson responds to President Bill Clinton’s photobomb: ‘I loved it’

Kelly Clarkson and President Bill Clinton seem like the most unlikely pair to be remembered from the Obama inauguration, but it’s true. The former president was photographed looking around the seats as the entertainer belted out My Country, ‘Tis of Thee during the inauguration. The photobombed picture went viral and the two stars have been chatted up everywhere. On Friday Kelly Clarkson shared a positive response after seeing the picture and it appears she has a pretty good sense of humor.

“I loved it,” said Kelly Clarkson talking to Paul Koffy of BUZ’N@102.9 in Minneapolis on Friday. This was the first time the star has discussed the incident. “And Brandon and I were dying to get a picture of me standing two people behind him, checking him out from close up.”

However Kelly Clarkson apparently couldn’t get close enough as there were too many politicians greeting the diplomat making the opportunity impossible. While the picture has gone viral, it is one of the moments Clarkson is remembered for during the ceremony. The other, obviously, is when she belted out her portion of the program.
