To stand in front of millions of people and sing the national anthem can’t be easy. While some critics could say it was part of the job, Kelly Clarkson admitted before she arrived on stage that she was nervous on Sunday night. However as the audience looked on, the entertainer had a flawless performance. It was so perfect that artists who have been in Clarkson’s place before actually reached out to congratulate her on a job well done.
“Kelly Clarkson KiLleD the national anthem. Show em' how it's done girl!!!! -Um ....this just made my year....& it's only February,” wrote Pink, a popular rock entertainer.
“Blew my mind tonight singing at the super bowl! Nice job my friend,” wrote Jason Aldean who has performed with Kelly Clarkson in the past.
“Kelly Clarkson RULED that anthem. And was so happy to see the Indianapolis Children's Choir with her,” wrote Josh Groban.
The fans couldn’t have agreed more with the celebrities as the Twitter direct feed to Kelly Clarkson was full of compliments that included simple messages of joy after hearing the entertainer on the field. One of the most difficult performances at any sporting game as so much is expected, the entertainer pleased her fans and everyone else watching too.
