Kelly Clarkson mocks critics at American Music Awards: Song intro funny (video)

Kelly Clarkson definitely got payback on Sunday night at the American Music Awards. The entertainer performed her latest single, Mr. Know it All, live on stage but before she did, she took a jab at all those folks who have been starting rumors about her and her career.

Prior to stepping up to the microphone Kelly Clarkson had voices read some of the tabloid headlines from the news online about her career. In what was a staggering moment that gave everyone a glimpse of what she deals with on a regular basis, the singer got to share that sometimes Mr. Know it All isn’t a person but an entity that brings unnecessary grief.

"Extra, extra Kelly Clarkson at odds with label again. Cites creative differences,” said one voice. Sounding like a newspaper hawker, it was a funny voice with intentional highlight on the word ‘cites.’ Another voice came on as well sharing a more personal moment.  “Read all about it. Kelly Clarkson, is she gay or is she straight? Why is she still single?”

Once Kelly Clarkson set on singing her voice, it was obvious she had matured into a professional singer. What also was obvious was that the entertainer was tired of people critiquing her life and the voices before the song reminded everyone they aren’t really privileged to do so.
