Kelly Clarkson of "American Idol" is speaking out about the gay rumors. On Jan. 4, she spoke about the rumors. According to Zap 2 It, she was never insulted by the talk.
She says that people thought because she was single for so long that she must be gay. Kelly feels like that insults the gay community because being single has nothing to do with being gay. She says that if she was a lesbian she would be in luck though because some of the hottest women ever have hit on her. She says she has always wanted to be with men.
Kelly is now engaged to marry Brandon Blackstock. That should put the rumors to rest and get people to stop talking about it. She was single for six years before falling in love with Brandon. It sounds like she has found her true love. The couple started dating last February.
