Kelly Clarkson appears on a recent YouTube video singing the Miley Cyrus song "The Climb."
Accompanied by Jill and Kate, two of her backup singers, with harmony and an acoustic guitar, Kelly Clarkson covered "The Climb" shortly after sharing the stage with Miley Cyrus at the VH1 Divas concert.
Having to use her phone to read the lyrics for "The Climb", Kelly Clarkson joked saying, "I don’t even know my own lyrics so don’t be offended.”
The song "The Climb", written by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe and produced by John Shanks, earned Miley Cyrus a Best Song from a Movie award at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards and a Choice Music: Single win at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
