Kelly Clarkson debunks gay rumors according to the article in Cosmopolitan magazine's "Love Issue" set for release on Tuesday. It was revealed on Jan. 4 that Kelly doesn't have an issue about the gay rumors that have been flying around her for years. As a matter of fact, the rumors have made some of the hottest girls ever hit on her. Clarkson thinks the rumors sprung up because she hadn't dated anyone in awhile.
"People think, 'Oh, she's been single for too long,'" Kelly said. "That's kind of an insult to the gay community. Being single doesn't mean you're gay. But I'm never insulted by it, obviously. I mean, I get hit on by the hottest girls ever. Oh, my god, if I were a lesbian, I would be so in luck. But it's just not my thing. I've always batted for the boys' team."
The 30 year old "American Idol" star recently got engaged to Brandon Blackstock, her boyfriend and also music manager. Clarkson seems happier than ever before since being engaged. She took to Twitter to announce her engagement on December 15 that happened the night before. Kelly also uploaded a photo of her yellow canary diamond on her "WhoSay account a few weeks ago.
