Parents, it's time to check your cereal. While we try our best to provide our kids with a healthier breakfast, sometimes things happen. The inevitable recall is enough to put many of us on the edge of our seats, especially when a product may contain glass fragments.

Kellogg's has recently issued a consumer alert. They have voluntarily recalled three sizes of Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries cereal, in the U.S. The three sizes include: 11.2-ounce package, 22.4-ounce twin pack, and 37-ounce package. Kellogg's reports the possibility of glass fragments, and is doing its best to ensure consumer safety. So far there have been no injury reports.

This recall is only for the U.S., and products purchased in Canada are not included in this recall. If you have purchased a recalled item, Kellogg instructs consumers to contact them via Kellogg Consumer Response here, or call them at 800-962-1413.
