"Dancing with the Stars" champ Kellie Pickler has partnered with the Nashville Ballet for a collaborative performance at this year's Ballet Ball. Bringing two songs from her latest album, "The Woman I Am," Pickler will provide the soundtrack to the event slated for Saturday, March 8.
Nashville Ballet company dancers will perform original dances (choreographed by Artistic Director and CEO Paul Vasterling), while Pickler's music is the backdrop to the show.
“I am so honored Nashville Ballet chose me to perform as part of their Ballet Ball this year,” Pickler says in an official statement. “My passion is music, but last year I discovered how much I love to dance, so to have Nashville Ballet dance to two of my songs is really exciting for me. I cannot wait to see the how they choreograph their dances for the Ball.”
Main Ball tickets are available by invitation only. Arts patrons will have the chance to purchase tickets ($125 per person) to the Ballet Ball's Late Party, which includes a seat for the performance. Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, Jan. 15.
