It's not all about her "milkshake bring[ing] all the boys to the yard" for Kelis. As of Feb. 26 fans of the "Bossy" songstress can also catch her on the Cooking Channel whipping up something special in the kitchen, like "Jerk Ribs" in an effort to promote her upcoming LP appropriately titled "Food" according to EUR on Feb 18.

After signing with new label Ninja Tune, Kelis is ready to release her first album under the label titled "Food." The album will feature songs where even the title will get your taste buds going with tracks like, "Jerk Ribs," "Fish Fry," "Biscuits and Gravy," "Cobbler" and many more. Time Entertainment describes the project as Kelis' way of combining both of her passions - music and food "after spending several years training as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu."

Fans will have to wait until Spring to grab a plate of "Food" from the album and purchase the LP. It won't hit stores until April 21 but if you can't wait until then to get a taste of what Chef Kelis has to offer, you can catch "Saucy and Sweet," the cooking show Kelis is set to host on Feb. 26.

The Cooking Channel network describes the show as a dinner party for Kelis' inner circle of friends where she prepares dishes like those featured on the upcoming album, jerk ribs, shrimp fricassee and goat cheese ice cream.

You can check out Saucy & Sweet with Kelisat 8:30 p.m. Feb. 26 on the Cooking Channel.
