Keke Palmer To Play TLC Member

Keke Palmer has been chosen to play the role of Chilli in the upcoming VH 1 TLC Biopic. This is scheduled be filmed in Atlanta, GA next month.

"I am a true fan. I love these ladies and I always want to be proud of my work in any role that I do".

Music was a very important part of Keke Palmer’s life while growing up in Chicago. Her mother was a background session singer, and often took young Keke and her older sister L’Oreal to the studio.

Palmer was only six years old when TLC released their third smash hit album Fan Mail.

"I would sing No Scrubs over and over again to the point my parents would have to tell me to stop, but I never did, I had my little hairbrush as my mic and nobody could tell me I wasn't the fourth member of TLC", laughs Keke remembering who her music idols were growing up.

Coming off of her critically acclaimed performance in the Lifetime Network Dramatic TV Special, Abducted: The Carlina White Story, in which the actress was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special at the recent NAACP IMAGE AWARDS, Palmer says she is quite aware of how TLC fans will react to a bad movie about their lives.

If Palmer's past film work is any indication along with the success of her music mixtapes and music videos, we could be in for a big treat!
