When Keith Urban performed You Gonna Fly at the 45th annual CMA Awards in November, fans watching couldn't be certain if it was the last time they'd hear Keith Urban sing. Keith Urban had announced earlier in November that he'd be canceling the remainder of his Get Closer World Tour because of the need for surgery.
Keith Urban would undergo vocal cord surgery to remove a polyp, which could understandably make some fans nervous. As it turned out though, after completing a doctor-ordered voice rest for the past few months, Keith Urban has once again been cleared to perform.
St. Louis fans might be excited to know that Keith Urban's return to the stage is within the one day road trip range. Keith Urban will give his return performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, just under six hours from St. Louis.
Keith Urban will be performing at Ryman Auditorium on February 3rd, 2012. If you didn't already have plans to take off work Super Bowl weekend, this might be the news you needed to reconsider. St. Louisans could easily take a trek down to Nashville to see Keith Urban perform on Friday, return on Saturday and still be able to hit the local sports bars for the pregame show and Super Bowl on Sunday. What an exciting weekend that would be!
If you're unable to see Keith Urban's return performance, but would still love the thrill of seeing him play in Nashville, he will also be in concert at the Grand Ole Opry on March 9, 2012.
