Keith Urban posted a video apology to Cleveland, Ohio fans on his website and included updated concert information on Sept. 13, 2013 for his rescheduled show at Blossom Music Center. Urban was forced to miss the original concert after getting stuck in New York waiting at the airport for his flight to the show that was delayed due to weather.
Urban posted “Cleveland.... SO, so sorry we can't play tonite. Join us Sunday for a very special, long show at 7:30PM. Look for more info tomorrow morning on www.KeithUrban.net” on his Youtube page and included the video apology. Urban explained ”We’ve been waiting hours and hours, waiting to take off, but they’ve had these planes grounded pretty much all afternoon waiting for the storms and lightning to pass by.”
“Light The Fuse Tour” show openers Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch performed for fans on the original concert date at Blossom Music Center while Urban was waiting for his flight to take off. Urban has rescheduled his concert stop for Sept. 15, 2013 at Blossom Music Center and the solo show is now being called “An evening with Keith Urban.”
Urban said he plans “to play way longer then we would’ve tonight – it’s all that we can do to make it up to you” when he discussed the rescheduled date. Tickets from the original date will be honored and fans that will not be able to attend the Sept. 15, 2013 show will be eligible for a full refund according to Urban’s website. The refund information will be provided on his website beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 16, 2013.
