Country singer and “American Idol’ judge Keith Urban and R&B sensation Miguel reportedly may record “Ain’t No Sunshine” which they performed at the “Grammy Nominations Concert Live” recently. Urban said that he really enjoyed working with Miguel and the feeling is mutual.
Taste of Country reported on Dec. 27 that Keith Urban thought performing the Bill Wither’s classic “Ain’t No Sunshine” with Miguel was “really, really cool” and after the show said that he would like to do “something else” with the singer. Miguel was equally pleased about working with Urban, saying that Keith is “honestly, hands-down, probably the coolest guy I’ve got to work with” and issued an invite to the award-winning singer.
“Keith can we make some music? This is the official request and I’m doing it on television.”
There has been no official word yet from Keith Urban on whether or not Miguel's invitation has been accepted. Fans are excited about the collaboration, but Urban may be too busy to accept the invite right now. A new season of “American Idol” begins on Jan. 15 on Fox. Keith Urban, along with new judge Harry Connick, Jr. and returning judge Jennifer Lopez will be busy helping America choose the next “American Idol” winner.
