A Manhattan Criminal Court judge has decided that 26-year-old Theodora Richards, the second-born daughter of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, can have charges of drug possession and vandalism against her dismissed after she completes two days of public community service. The decision was made on April 21, 2011.
As previously reported, model/nightclub DJ Theodora was arrested in New York City on March 11, 2011, after police officers suspected that she had used a paint marker to draw the letters "T" and "A" (with a heart symbol in between the letters) on the wall of a convent. Police said they also found Theodora in possession of marijuana and a painkiller (allegedly hyrdocodone) without a prescription.
Theodora (who did not have a prior criminal record) did not enter a plea in her case, and her attorney told the court that Theodora is currently in a drug-treatment program. The attorney declined to reveal any further details on Theodora's rehab treatment.
The next hearing in the case is on June 24, 2011, when Theodora must confirm whether or not she completed the community service.
Theodora is the elder of two children that Keith has with his wife, Patti Hansen. Theodora's younger sister, Alexandra (who turns 25 on July 28), is also a model. Keith's two eldest children (41-year-old son Marlon and 39-year-old daughter Angela) are from a previous relationship that he had with Anita Pallenberg. Keith and Pallenberg had a third child named Tara, a son who died of sudden infant death syndrome in 1976 at 10 weeks old.
