After a decade of leading the Bolivar football program, Keith Perry had decided to step down as head football coach.

Perry complied a 37-68 record over the decade and lead the Tigers to four playoff appearances (2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011).

"Yes, he resigned effective immediately as head football coach and we thank Coach Perry for his long service as head coach," Bolivar Principal Jeff Barnes said.

The Tigers are coming off a 3-7 record and the last wining record was 6-5 back in 2010.

The best year for the Bolivar program recently was a 8-4 record in 2007 when they made the Class 3A Quarterfinals.

The Tigers defeated Giles County and Fayette Ware before falling to eventual champion David Lipscomb.
