If you have been watching “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” you are aware of the selfie obsession Kim Kardashian has. During the family's trip to Thailand she was seen posing and taking several photos to create a book for now-husband, Kanye West. There was even an uncomfortable scene where step-brother Brody Jenner walked in on a very saucy selfie shot. Can you say awkward? According to an August 8 report from E! Online, Kim Kardashian will be releasing a new book in April 2015 titled “Selfish.” The book will be filled with selfies Kardashian has taken over time.

Fans aren't shocked the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is using her body to further her career. Kim Kardashian shot to fame because of a sex tape she did with ex-boyfriend Ray J. While she would like to forget where she came from, the video is still contributing to her income regularly. Critics are ragging on her for the book, but the book sales will be rolling in with or without support from the outside world.

Kim Kardashian's Twitter page is filled with selfies and her cover photo is a collage of various photos of her taken at different times. While the book deal may seem weird to some, the company producing the book sought out Kardashian. The hardcover will retail for just $20, which won't break the bank. It will be interesting to see how much the book will gross over time, especially after the initial hype goes away.

During “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian has scaled herself way back. Kanye West is a private man, so fans are wondering how he feels about the selfie book being released. Some are shocked that he is even allowing it, since he doesn't like Kardashian to be so revealing while on the show. Money talks, and it looks like it convinced Kardashian to release the book.
