The handwriting was on the wall for a while now. "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" are about to be replaced. The show that E! is considering to take their place is with a bunch of rich kids.
“The Rich Kids of Instagram” is a documentation of how the rich kids live and it will debut in January. The show will follow five super rich kids who are all around 20 years old. One of the stars is Dorothy Wang, daughter of Roger Wang. In case you’ve never heard of billionaire Roger, he is a Beverly Hills businessman. Dorothy holds a career of being "funemployed." Also joining in the cast is freelance interior designer, Roxie Sowlaty. Jonny Drubel, 25, is a singer-songwriter who wants to make a living with his music. Brendan Fitzpatrick has a top position at a real estate firm. Morgan Stewart is a blogger and she is Brendan Fitzpatrick’s girlfriend.
The show promises to contain drama, sex, partying, and gossip. According to the site Celeb Dirty Laundry, E.J. Johnson, son of Magic Johnson will have a role in the show too.
E! is replacing one spoiled rich family, Kardashians, with some spoiled rich kids. Do you think this is a wise move for E!? Should E! keep the Kardashians on the air or should they replace them with a more substantial group of people?
