Keeping the grass green: Wear an eco-friendly bag

Fashion is directly impacted by current events going on in the world. Rather than just being a pretentious industry, apparel changes with the times and society.

One huge way the world is impacting fashion is through the environment. Whether the apparel industry is finding new forms of manufacturing, lessening waste and emissions, or recycling fabrics, one thing is for sure: fashionistas everywhere are going green.

And you can join in on the trend too. By making more conscious decisions and being more knowledgable about the clothing and accessories you are buying, you can help Mother Nature also.

One of my favorite ways to do my part in helping the environment is through bringing my own bags when I go shopping. By refraining from taking home tons of plastic bags, I am eliminating extra waste.

And not only are these bags good for the environment, but they're also equally as fabulous as your usual tote. Plus, buying these reusable bags are a legitimate excuse to go shopping!

So check through my slideshow for the perfect eco-bag for you. Whether grocery shopping or carrying diapers, you're sure to make everyone else green with envy.

And, hopefully this environmentally-conscious trend is one that will stick for good.
