Keeping a polished car as business image for entrepreneurs and professionals (Photos)

Entrepreneurs and professionals in Southern California can keep up a sharp image by getting a car detailed and have a competitive edge in the business marketplace.

Getting a car or truck detailed and restored to the original shine may be one of those small elements that help make a favorable impression and builds trust with potential customers.

First Impressions

In many cases, the first impression a prospective client has is when the professional or consultant pulls up to the business location. A car with damage to the paint or body may raise questions about competence or future performance.

Chris Davison, owner of Formula 1 Mobile Detailing, West Covina, says quality detailing can provide long-lasting protection.

"We offer six-month warranties on many of our services, but in some cases we can provide from one-year to five-year warranties," he told me.

Easier Maintenance

He says a regular washing or cleaning will make detailing easier.

"Getting a car, SUV, truck or any vehicle back to its original luster can be done even in tough conditions like tar coated on the chrome. We use top-of-the-line products. I do advise customers to clean the car regularly and that makes detailing easier."

Chris says once a vehicle has been detailed, the finish is well-protected and the vehicle is easier to clean in the future.

"And if only specific parts of the vehicle need cleaning, like headlights, then we'll do that, too."

Convenient Service

Chris, who has Fedex out of City of Industry as a client, served in the Marine Corps and he says he enjoys mobile detailing.

"I like moving around. We come to the customer so it's convenient for them."

He'll offer discounts for more than one car being serviced at a location.
