Many times, when a person believes his home is haunted, the first thought is to call a paranormal investigator. When the investigator is contacted he will ask a lot of questions. It is sometimes hard to remember all of the answers. One thing that a person who believes his house is haunted can do is make a paranormal journal. This journal will help keep paranormal events in order and make it easier for investigators to get the information they need.
The paranormal journal can be a notebook, binder with loose leaf paper, or whatever the person chooses to use. The person may want to separate the journal into sections for the different events that happen in the home including; ghost sightings, poltergeist activity, sounds that are heard, aromas that have no reason to be there, or any other event that may be considered paranormal. Keeping the written entries neat and organized makes them easier to be read by the individual and the investigator.
When making journal entries, it is good to write down the date, time, and paranormal event. Make sure to record as many details of the event as possible. Also make sure the entries are easily understood. If visitors witness anything paranormal, record what they experience in detail as well.
Photos, if available, should be placed in the notebook as well. If video of the paranormal activities is available, it should be kept near or in the notebook. DVD videos can be easily placed in notebooks by taping a DVD sleeve on the inside cover.
Bangor area individuals that believe they are experiencing a haunting, or other form of paranormal activity, can contact Prana Paranormal or other Maine paranormal investigators.
