Keep potato chips fresh: For those who can only eat just one

See also

Are you familiar with the famous brand name of potato chips? “Lay’s!” How about their catchy saying? “Nobody can eat just one!”

We’re sure you’ve heard, watched and read the satin on the radio, television or even on the bag of chips in the supermarket.

Most individuals can’t resist potato chips when a bowl or opened bag is set in front of them. The urge or craving for more usually increases dramatically where there is dip just waiting for a chip to scoop up its creamy and tasty mixture. So, if you’re one who devours the entire bag of chips this trick isn’t for you.

On the other hand, if you have a party and wind up with left-over’s that won’t be eaten for some time. Or, if you are that one in a million who can eat just one chip or maybe only five or six there is a simple way to always keep those potato chips fresh tasting as if the bag was just opened.

All you have to do is seal the bag tightly and put it in the freezer. Now if you want to enjoy them a week or month from now they will be fresh. Or maybe, you want to grab a few each day with lunch you don’t have to worry about them going bad before you get to the end of the bag.

There’s nothing worse than tasting an old potato chip. Well, maybe there is. But when you crave a chip and get one that is old, it has an awful taste and is a big let-down. When the oils they were fried or baked in start to breakdown the whole bag gets a rancid smell making the chips taste horrible. Freezing the bag prevents this from happening when a bag of chips sits for a week or two in the pantry, on the counter or in a desk drawer.

Now you don’t have to toss bags of chips away, stuff yourself to eat more than you’re used to and waste money either.

Freeze the bag for freshness and enjoy all the chips every time whether you eat a few or a few handfuls of potato chips.

Enjoy the crunch of fresh potato chips!
