Ke$ha entered rehab on Friday according to a report on January 2 by the New York Daily News. The pop star made an announcement that she would be unavailable for the next 30 days while she recovers from an eating disorder.

This comes just after the New Year's Day release of the music video for Ke$ha's "Dirty Love" single. She also recently posted on Twitter, "cheers to this year being the best year ever. 2014 gon be the year of truth and freedom. [sic]" She also posted a picture of her new happy face tattoo on Twitter with tagline, "happy new year!!!! get it?"

Rumor has it that Ke$ha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, will be checking into the Timberline Knolls rehab center near Chicago. Coincidentally, this is the same rehab center where Demi Lovato sought treatment in 2011.

It is unknown what type of eating disorder that Ke$ha is suffering from but the vegetarian told TMZ, "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am." She has since checked herself into an inpatient program and hopes to be feeling well again soon.
