Ke$ha: Producer Dr. Luke blamed for eating disorder

Ke$ha checked into rehab for an eating disorder last Friday. And according to TMZ on Jan. 4, the 26-year-old says her producer, Dr. Luke, is the reason she developed the disorder.

Ke$ha’s eating disorder apparently started when the singer’s “Get Sleazy” tour ended in 2011. The report claims Dr. Luke, who has also worked with Rihanna and Miley Cyrus, taunted Ke$ha over the weight she gained during her downtime and then told her management team to take care of it.

A source tells the website Ke$ha revealed while on the set of a music video shoot in 2012 that Luke told her she "looks like a f***ing refrigerator" and Ke$ha, who signed a deal with Luke at age 18, was deeply affected by the comment.

In a statement released to the media, Ke$ha explained, “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice. I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Luke has reportedly not responded to the claims.
