Ke$ha checks into rehab

Ke$ha, the artist that has brought us the hits "Tik Tok", "We R Who We R" and "Your Love Is My Drug' has entered into rehab. TMZ who just broke the news is reporting the singer -songwriter was checked into Timberline Knolls, (Chicago, IL) Friday morning for treatment for an eating disorder. It's the same facility that Demi Lovato was treated at. Ke$ha who reportedly is vegetarian told TMZ "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice. I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."

Ke$sha first got her break into the industry at the age of 18, when she appeared on Flo Ridda's #1 hit "Right Round". Ke$ha would later become a star in her own right when she released her debut album "Animal" (and the extended play "Cannibal") both in 2010 and in 2012 when she released her second album "Warrior", that earned the singer record album sales (88 million world wide), many award nominations, along with many number of hits. In 2011 Ke$ha emabarked on her first world tour "Get Sleazy". Ke$ha has also become known for her writing skills she has written songs for other noted artists like Brittany Spear's "Till the World Ends" and is featured in the MTV's documentary "My Crazy Beautiful Life".

No word yet how rehab will effect her current Warrior Tour that is set to resume in February over in Dubai. When the news broke that Ke$ha had entered into rehab, fans from around the world, began to flood the artist Instagram and Facebook pages with Get Well wishes along with words of encouragement, to stay strong, many fans also added the #prayforkesha.
