Ke$ha has checked into rehab for eating disorder issues, according to a Jan. 3 Yahoo News report. The singer issued a statement indicating that she will be unavailable while seeking treatment for an undisclosed eating disorder.

According to TMZ sources, Ke$ha checked into the Timberline Knolls treatment facility, about half an hour outside Chicago, Illinois early Friday morning. It is the same place Demi Lovato sought treatment for her reported eating disorders. The singer and “My Crazy Beautiful Life” reality star told TMZ, “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice. I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am”

Ke$ha’s real name is Kesha Rose Sebert. She has brought fans to the dance floor with hits like, “Timber” with Pitbull, “Crazy Love,” and “Die Young.”

MTV News reports that her trip to rehab comes just one month before she is scheduled to perform in Dubai as part of her Warrior tour. She is also set to perform shows in Hammond, Indiana, and Green Bay, Wisconsin in March and April.
