KD Lang has been confirmed as the 2013 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee.
According to a news release posted today at Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences official website, the Canuck alt-country chanteuse will receive the honour at this year's Juno Awards.
The “Constant Craving” hitmaker has notched eight Junos and four Grammys in her 25-year career.
The 51-year-old Edmonton, AB native joins a prestigious list of past inductees, which includes: Anne Murray, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, The Band, The Guess Who and Shania Twain.
Lang will be honoured at the 42nd annual Juno Awards, scheduled to take place on April 21 in Regina, SK at Brandt Centre.
The show will be hosted by Michael Buble and televised on the CTV Network.
Nominees for the Juno Awards will be announced February 19.
