If you've ever been to KCRW's studio in the basement of Santa Monica College, you probably noticed phenomenal photographs of some of the hottest musicians in the world on the walls. Now, KCRW is throwing a party to showcase in-house lens man, Larry Hirshowitz's, artistic portraits at a pop-up gallery on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Atwater Crossing, 3245-3191 Casitas Avenue. Join the scene. It's free.
All of Larry Hirshowitz's portraits in this gallery were taken in the KCRW studios. You'll be amazed by the incredible talent that has made a pilgrimage to this independent public radio station, including Grammy-winner, Adele. Admire this iconic image of the Skyfall singer? A framed print (see image on the left) will be raffled off during the party.
Popular KCRW DJs Anne Litt and Travis Holcolmbe will keep the party spinning with cool music. Gourmet food trucks from Border Grill and Coolhaus, as well as ATX Kitchen, will be serving yummy eats and delicious cocktails. Peruse, snack, drink, dance and meet your fellow KCRW listeners.
