KC Strip trolley opening, Red Sox in town

So what's YOUR plan for the weekend?

The KC Strip, a trolley service that will be running through all the entertainment districts, is opening this weekend. Eventually, it will cost $15 to get a wristband to ride all night, but it's free tonight and tomorrow. It's running through Power & Light, 18th and Vine, Westport, the Plaza, Brookside, and Waldo.

Classic and muscle cars are the highlight at Bartle Hall this weekend, as the Mecum car auction kicks off. Things started at 9 this morning, and the doors open tomorrow at 8 AM.

The Red Sox are in town to face off against the Royals. I'm just hoping that the boys in blue avoid the sweep. The treat is going to be on Saturday, as the two staff aces (Zack Greinke and Josh Beckett) start against each other. Get out to the K and shout down the large amount of Red Sox fans that are sure to be there. Tonight at 8, Saturday's game time is 7; and on Sunday, 2 PM.

The Wizards face off against Colorado on Saturday, 7:30 at Community America Ballpark. I know nothing about futbol, so I'll just say Go Wizards.

Have a safe weekend, everyone.
