KC’s biggest vintage fashion show next Friday

One day only, the Historic Garment District Museum presents what is being called the biggest vintage fashion show in Kansas City. Fashion shows are always a great event for aspiring young fashion-minded architects and this event should be family friendly with a casual outdoor venue and other activities that can be appreciated by all ages. All garments are touted to have been manufactured entirely within Kansas City factories. The lines themselves should be an interesting fusion of contemporary/vintage, new age/retro, authentic/ageless, classically timeless and whatever radical combinations are possibly available. Come for the experience, weather or fashion itself. These events never fail to generate a good time for all.

The district is located on May Street, which is one block east of Broadway between 8th and 9th streets in Kansas City, Missouri.

The event is free to the public. It will take place Friday, October 1, 2010 at 7 p.m.
