KC Chiefs cheerleaders holding audition clinics on Saturday

The Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders will be holding the first part of their tryouts for the 2013 squad this Saturday (2/16) with two Audition Clinics at the Training Complex next to Arrowhead Stadium. If you want to be on the squad next season, you must attend an Audition Clinic.

The first clinic runs from 9 a.m. to noon and the second from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and cost $30 to get in. Sorry gentlemen, the clinics are closed to the public and only paid participants will be allowed inside. Women must turn 18 years old by February 22, 2013 to be on the team. The cheerleading squad has a link to register on the team’s official web site here.

Participants are required to attend at least one of the clinics, but may attend both for just the $30 fee. Auditions run next week from 2/22 to 2/24.

Sadly, there aren’t any male Chiefs cheerleaders any more, otherwise I’d give it a shot. However, I’m not sure Chiefs Nation is ready to see a chubby, pasty, and unathletic 50-year old out there trying to do a back-flip.
