KC Chamber hosts Admiral Mike Mullen on February 5

Admiral Mike Mullen (Ret.) will speak about military readiness and the intersection of national security and the global economy when he presents as part of the KC Chamber’s Polsinelli Public Policy Up Close Speaker Series on Wednesday, February 5 from 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m.

The event will take place at the Hotel Sorella on the Country Club Plaza, 901 W. 48th Street, Kansas City, MO.

Mullen served as 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2007 to 2011, and was the principal military advisor to President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.

Mullen led the military during a critical period of transition, overseeing the end of the combat mission in Iraq and the development of a new military strategy for Afghanistan.

  • The Polsinelli Public Policy Up Close Speakers Series is focused on keeping KC-area businesses up-to-date on the issues, policies, and policy trends that impact our region and the nation.

The cost to attend the event is $35.00 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members. The event fee includes breakfast. Reservations are required.
