Kaley Cuoco has been revealed to be the secret daughter of William Shatner’s alter ego, the Priceline Negotiator. Priceline released the new commercial on YouTube on Jan. 9.
The new commercial stars off with Shatner driving up to a remote location with a little girl in his convertible hot rod. The little girl gets out and Bill drives off, leaving her with a monk. The next scene tells us 20 years have passed and shows Shatner returning in the same car.
The same monk is standing there, but this time the girl is grown. We see it is Kaley. Shatner asks her, “How did it go?” as she gets in the car. Cuoco said she spent her childhood with monks learning the art of Priceline negotiation and explains some of the websites new features.
Priceline is again tapping into geek culture with this new promotion. Cuoco stars as Penny in the hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory,” which has a cult following with geeks. William Shatner is a geek legend. Fellow “Star Trek” star and geek idol Leonard Nimoy has also appeared in Priceline commercials.
