Kaufman County deputies searching for Scurry Rosser vandalism suspect

Scurry Rosser, Texas – The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect that sprayed graffiti at the Scurry Rosser baseball field between January 3 and January 4, 2013.

The fence surrounding the ball field was spray painted with swastikas and other graffiti. Workers said that when they left the field at 4:30 p.m. January 3, there was no graffiti on the fence. When they returned to the field at 9 a.m. on January 4, they found that 100 feet of the sheet metal fence had been vandalized by graffiti.

Sheriff's Spokesperson Pat Laney said, “Graffiti is a problem for the whole community; it is destructive as well as criminal. The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in catching the individuals who defaced the baseball field that so many youth enjoy.”
