Recently Kauai County Mayor Carvalho endorsed Hypnotherapy as a valid healing tool when he Proclaimed January 4th as World Hypnotism Day.
In his own words “Whereas, Hypnosis has been shown to have the capability to reduce stress, improve the quality of live and provide many other personal and social benefits….I Bernard P. Carvalho, JR, Mayor of the County of Kaua’i, State of Hawai’i, do hereby proclaim January 4th as World Hypnotism Day”.
Mayor Carvlaho has done a great thing for Kauai County. He has opened the doors to allow Hypnotherapy to flourish as a valid healing tool. Now the residents of Kauai can rest assured that there are quality practitioners of Hypnosis.
As a Hypnotherapist in Kauai I knew something had to be done about the misinformation about Hypnosis. Society for the most part don’t know what Hypnosis is. There are a few Kauai Hypnotherapists that provide many great services to the citizens of Kauai.
Now that Kauai County officially recognizes World Hypnotism Day as an official day, the citizens have a better chance to become informed about what Hypnosis actually is. Mayor Carvalho has done Hypnotherapists in Kauai a great service.

The citizens of Kauai to have better access to quality Hypnotherapists. No longer will people have to play a guessing game as to whether someone can help them with their problems. Mayor Carvalho has effectively raised the bar.
If you are a Hypnotherapist in Kauai please thank Mayor Carvalho for what he has done. If it wasn’t for him, Kauai County, would not recognize Hypnotherapy as a valid healing tool.
Hopefully other Mayors and officials across the Nation and the world will follow suit. For anyone reading this, contact the Mayors and or officials in your area. Get them to endorse Hypnotherapy by declaring January 4th as World Hypnotism Day.
A couple of years from now when Hypnotherapy has become much more mainstream, everyone will look back and realize that World Hypnotism Day was a large part of this.
It’ll take some time for this movement to spread threw the entire planet. At any rate let this be a sign that good things are on the horizon people practitioners of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. Its about time that Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy get the recognition they deserve.
