As if the perfect weather, tropical landscapes, ubiquitous ocean views and a plethora of world class golf courses weren't enough of a selling point, Kaua'i now is offering more family and beginner golfer options on its courses through the winter golf season.
With Kaua'i's golf cooperative appropriately named "Kaua‘i: Discover Golf's Ultimate Island Green," Kaua'i is positioning itself as a destination not only for the serious golfer, but a place where the whole family can play.
At Puakea Golf Club, through Jan. 31, 2014, golfers can receive 30 percent off the regular green fee, or take advantage of a special $59 rate after 11 a.m., including the cart. If you are taking the kids out, there is a $35 nine-hole rate available any day, all day long.
There is constant talk about how to make the game of golf more friendly and inviting to beginning players- the courses of Kaua'i might have an answer.
