Katy Perry stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to wish Ellen a happy birthday and to talk about her new flavor of Popchips. According to a Jan. 28 report from KMBZ Kansas City, Katy handed out bags of Katy’s Kettle Corn to audience members.
Perry dressed in 70s male drag to play host of a game show honoring DeGeneres on her big day. Although it was Ellen’s birthday, most of the session was devoted to the salty sweet snacks.
Katy said she was thrilled when Popchips approached her to be a brand ambassador and invited her to create her own flavor. Perry loves a combination of salty and sweet, but has been unable to find a good snack that isn’t high in calories.
After many taste tastes, Katy’s Kettle Corn flavor of Popchips was perfected. Perry is thrilled with the results and even had a hand in designing the bag. It features lots of pink, purple and hearts.
Katy Perry and Ellen DeGeneres also gave an audience member a trip to Australia.
